Alexandra Maria Lara has been a German/Romanian television actress for over a decade. Alexandra is famous for her the roles she played on Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. She was the sole child to Romanian actor Valentin Platareanu, Alexandra got into the showbiz world early and was performing lead roles in various shows on television by the time she was sixteen. The role she played as Adolf Hitler's Secretary Traudl Jue in Downfall (an Oscar-nominated wartime historical film) was critically as well as highly rated commercially. The Reader and Der Baader Meinhof Komplex are the other Oscar nominees featuring models. Alexandra has been involved in numerous important international and national projects throughout her career. These include British biographical films Control Greek drama film The Dust of Time as well as the French historic miniseries Napoleon and many more. Also, she was on the jury of the Transylvania International Film Festival, as well as at the Cannes Film Festival.
